SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force and Royal Malaysia Police, Jurong Police Division and Johor Police Contingent recently came together to design a series of crime prevention pamphlets, with support from Singapore’s National Crime Prevention Council.

The pamphlets, targeted at travellers on both sides of the causeway, are aimed at raising public awareness on common offences such as theft, cheating scams, violent property crime and outrage of modesty.

A fifth pamphlet advising travellers about common prohibited items has also been produced.

The pamphlets are currently available in two languages – English and Malay.

The Singapore Police Force said there are plans to have the pamphlets translated into more languages for better outreach.
